The inspiration behind my venture, The Braiding Zone, stems from a desire to pay homage to traditional African hairstyles and infuse them with a contemporary twist. However, as a proud member of the Black British community, I also seek to add an influence of black British culture to my hairstyling in unique and innovative ways. I am passionate about celebrating the rich diversity of black cultures and histories, both within the UK and globally, and I see hairstyling as a powerful medium for expressing these unique identities.I am driven by the belief that hairstyling is not just a profession but a form of artistic expression that transcends boundaries.
